The Scriptures
God has inspired all of the Bible writings (Old Testament and New Testament) they are holy, without fault, incapable of failing and God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matthew 5:18; John 16:12-13). It is because of this truth we believe the Bible should be rightly preached and taught in an expository style. We teach verse by verse and chapter by chapter to enable the whole counsel of God to be taught. Calvary Chapel Perth encourages every beliver to be a bereans (Acts 17:11) search and check the Scriptures against what is being taught.
We teach that Church does not replace Israel and that God is not done with Israel. Our doctrine supports the unilateral and everlasting covenants between God & Israel and God cannot lie and will fulfill his promise.
Jesus christ
Stepped down onto this earth and took on human flesh, both fully man and fully God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin woman, He came with the sole purpose of reconciling our broken relationship with God which we fractured by sin. He did this by redeeming us through His death upon the cross, in which He became our substitute, that is, while He Himself did not sin, He became sin on our behalf (2 Corinthians 5:21) and paid our penalty for sin on the cross.
Then by His literal, physical resurrection our justification has been made whole and sure. He then ascended into heaven where He now sits at God’s mighty right hand, where as our High Priest He intercedes on our behalf and is our advocate. We await His return which we recognise as the pre-tribulation rapture of His Church, and then the pre-millennial second coming bodily return of Christ to judge the living and the dead. It is with this testimony we agree with scripture that Jesus is the foundation and cornerstone of the Church.

Salvation
It is the good news of the cross and is the most precious gift given by God. A gift we did not deserve but out of His love, mercy and grace He gave it freely to anyone who comes and asks. It comes through admitting we have sinned and fallen short of God’s standards and comes only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the work on the cross, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. Jesus is the only way to salvation and the only way to God. Salvation of the believer is eternally secure. Salvation cannot be earned. Therefore, it cannot be lost.

Calvary Chapel Perth - A Little History
The church has been involved in outreach programs within our community including a radio program that aired for five years. We are actively engaged in a missions outreach in Asia, a door that was opened to us by the Lord. We are grateful for what God has done in the past and we’re excited about what He has planned for us ahead.
